Built in 1582 and set in Waterlow Park, Lauderdale House runs primarily as an arts and education centre, welcoming over 65,000 visitors annually. Our varied programme includes performances, exhibitions, classes and events, as well as weddings and parties, which together bring this historic building to life. There is also a restaurant offering delicious modern cuisine, drinks and snacks.
Lauderdale House Galleries and Cafe are now closed for refurbishment until Summer 2016. Find out more about our fundraising by watching the video below. The House is continuing with many events and classes during the closure held at local venues under 'Pop-Up Lauderdale' and the Cafe have a temporary Kiosk on the Tea Lawn.
